Thanks for your question. Pectus carinatum can make it more challenging to get a good results, but a few important decisions can increase the beauty of your result. I would suggest you choose a highly projecting breast implant to overcome the excess projection of the chest resulting from the Carinatum. XTRA breast implants, high profile, or tear drop breast implants have some of the best projections. A dual plane surgery is more appropriate to limit the muscle contractions and natural tension from decreasing any gains in projection as well. Thanks for sharing this question and good luck.Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. Based on your included picture, it looks like your sternal anomaly is pretty subtle. I suspect you would be a fine candidate for breast augmentation. Best of luck in finding the right surgeon for you.
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. Based on your photo, you do have very mild pectus carinatum, but this should not prevent you from having a good result after breast augmentation surgery. Your surgeon will likely recommend selecting implants which have a higher projection which will minimize the appearance of deeper cleavage. Also, a dual plane technique augmentation, which will give your final result greater lower pole fullness, can also help give you a very natural and attractive look. Schedule an in-person consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon in your area for a full exam and consultation. Best of luck!Michael Eisemann M.D.Plastic SurgeonHouston, Texas

It is not just the volume that matters, but the dimensions. At 6'2" you will indeed require a much larger volume than someone who is 5'2' for the same effect. There are limitations in skin elasticity and nipple to fold distance that create "limits". You would need to be seen, examined and...
