I stopped breastfeeding my daughter 10 days ago. 3 days later I got 15 units of Botox. My milk has come back in full force. I have had to pump to ease the pain. Can I give this milk to my 1 year old or is it too risky one week later?

Answer: Breastfeeding and Botox It is not advised to breastfeed while using Botox. I would not use milk produced within 3-6 months of receiving Botox. There is no science to prove this is dangerous but I would not recommend taking a chance.

Answer: Can I nurse a week after getting Botox? Thank you for your excellent question. This is a common question asked of recently pregnant and lactating mothers. There is no clear literature that states that it is unsafe, but being conservative, I would not give the milk to your daughter. Why risk anything? As a policy, I don't administer Botox to patients who are/think they are pregnant, or if they are lactating/breastfeeding.
