The implant has dimensions similar to a coconut and will impart that shape on your breasts.I note some surgeons have answered that it depends upon your breast exam. I challenge anyone to show a picture of any woman 5'2" and 120lbs with that implant who doesn't look like she's trying to smuggle cantaloupes out of the grocery store. Some women do want that look. But you question was whether the look is fake and unequivocally it will be.Worse than looking fake is that they will cause permanent and uncorrectable damage to your tissue. Without even examining you I know from experience and from published articles that those dimensions will stretch your breast skin to where it was never meant to go, compress and thin your breast tissue, and cause a bowl-shaped deformity of your rib cage. Those things can never be fixed.
It is hard to determine without a photo. SRX does give a lot of projection, which in someone who is only 120lbs, may look 'augmented'. The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach Trained, Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
The Natrelle Inspira Style SRX line is Allergan's highest profile smooth wall silicone device. The increased profile gives more upper pole fullness, more projection, more roundness in the upper pole, and tends to give more cleavage vs the other lines with lower profiles. This implant is chosen less so by those wanting the "natural" look and more so in those wanting an "augmented" look. Make sure you communicate your aesthetic goals to your plastic surgeon so that whatever look you desire can be achieved. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. "Tissue based planning" relies on your chest and breast measurements and is the safest way to ensure good long term results. Your surgeon should determine what size and projection are necessary to give you your desired result based on your body's measurements. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic breast surgery. Hope this helps and good luck with your surgery.
HI there, Thank you for your question. I am unable to provide accurate advice given that I have not assessed you in person or observed photographs. If you are concerned please speak with your surgeon, you want to be completely comfortable with your surgical plan before proceeding with the surgery. Best, realdrsix
Hello 'brookrose71', thanks for your question. Every person's body structure is different and thus the same implant placed in different people will look completely different. A 495cc implant in someone who is over 6 feet tall with a heavy body habitus may look completely natural. However, with your petite frame, I believe this same implant will definitely not look like it occurred in mother nature and lead to a 'fake look'. However this is not necessarily a bad thing as I see many women here in southern California who actually prefer to have the augmented/ fake look that is so prevalent in this region as part of the culture. I would recommend trying on some sizers in the office setting to see what you prefer. If you would like to discuss further, please give my office a call for a free consultation. Good luck!-Dr.Go
you are likely to have a fake look with those sized implants. If you want natural, implants should not be chosen as there is nothing 'natural' about implant. But if you want fake, proceed as planned.
Without examining you in person, hard to say for certain, but a 500 cc implant on a small woman is most probably going to look "augmented". If that's the look that you want, great. If not, you may want to reconsider.
The ideal Implant size cannot be determined by height and weight alone. It is best to have an in-office evaluation so that careful measurements can be taken to determine the best size implant for your chest diameter, several upper body measurements, and current breast tissue. Once you have the measurements, they are all put together to determine the right implant from the right manufacturer. Breast implants of the same cc's can look and feel extremely different depending on the profile and material. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery
It depends on your breast shape, and width of your chest wall. Generally, rounder implants with greater projection may look "more fake"
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. If your implants are moving laterally off of your chest when you are laying down, you can consider a revision with internal bra, or changing the implants. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. ...

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure. The abdominal bloating could be due to constipation from the pain medication and fluid retention from surgery. I would recommend calling your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Best of luck!
