Can my upper and lower blepharoplasty be performed 2 weeks after Dysport in the crows feet and eyebrows?

Thank you for your question. I definitely recommend applying Botox injections at least three to four weeks prior to your blepharoplasty surgery. Also, avoid getting Botox until 4 weeks has passed after your eyelid surgery.

It is true that there is muscle relaxation after injection of Dysport or Botox. However, there is not a significant amount of skin sagging or laxity that occurs after the injection so if you wish to proceed with your blepharoplasty procedure, your results should not be affected.

However, I would strongly advise against having surgery now. I strongly recommend that you postpone surgery for at least 4 months. It is impossible to accurately perform ptosis surgery in this circumstance. You are putting yourself at substantial risk of complications. I recommend advising your surgeon what happened and getting yourself rescheduled.

If you are performing cosmetic upper and lower blepharoplasty, it's acceptable to undergo the procedure having had dysport two weeks ago. If you're trying to undergo ptosis repair, that should probably be postponed for several months until the dysport has worn off.

Probably not going to have a major impact on the assessment during surgery.
