Will I get great results from full leg- thigh, knee, calf and ankle liposuction?

Question

Firstly, does this look like Lipedema? I fit all the criteria: I swell terribly during the day in my legs, they ache, bruise easily, my mother had the same legs, they changed when I was 12. My weight is 120, all my weight is thighs down. Ankles are puffy, calves are always tender, knees are doughy. Will I get great results from full leg liposuction? Do you think I will have skin irregularities or other complications?

It's difficult to tell from your pictures, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert regarding lipedema, but you appear to be a candidate for liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Based on my experience of doing that area the key is amount removed in conjuction of knowing how loose the skin is upon examination to assess the amount to remove to give best results.  This all comes down to expereince of doctor and know how of being an artist knowing aesthetic principles of fat and skin retraction.  Therefore, I suggest visiting a doctor that has a minimum of 15 years of expereince performing lipo in areas that you would like done in approved surgical facility.  Thanks for great question

You appear to to be a good candidate for circumferential thigh and calf liposuction. Be prepared for prolonged swelling in your calves after this procedure, as this is very common. If you truly have chronic edema, consider your options carefully as this will likely prolong your recovery. Makes sure you see an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified surgeon who is experienced with larger amounts of liposuction.

It's possible you have lymphedema.
At this point it does not look bad enough for me to give you that diagnosis regardless of your secondary symptoms.
Since lipedema worsens with age part of making the diagnosis would be based on your current age.
If you're young and this has progressed substantially since you were 12 then you may have the condition in which case it may worsen over time.
Liposuction may help but you should know that skin texture or the smoothness of skin will never be improved by liposuction and can easily be made worse.
Thighs and especially legs are highly prone to Contor irregularities from liposuction if not done with Great precision.
These are technically difficult areas to treat and should only be done by someone which has true expertise with liposuction.
Many plastic surgeons will not perform liposuction of the calfs and ankles.
These areas are technically difficult and are prone to skin irregularities if not done with great precision.
If you look at plastic surgeons websites in their before and after galleries you typically do not see a lot of highly impressive lower I do a lot of liposuction and I believe I do it very well.
Choose your plastic surgeon carefully.
With the right doctor you can probably have a nice improvement.
