Hi Jamari, I do see lots of people wanting surgery over Christmas break, spring break and during the summer because that is when they are taking time off of work.
This varies on location. Typically it is our busiest in winter as most patients have time off from work and want to be well healed with the warmer weather. Regards,
Thank you for your question. Taken as a whole, aesthetic surgery has peaks in the spring months and towards the end of the calendar year, times when people have an opportunity of taking time off from work. Summer months tend to be slower due to vacations and patients do not want to be recovering. That said, breast augmentations tend to be fairly steady through the year. Hope this helps.
Hi, I actually find in my practice that bookings for breast augmentation are pretty steady throughout the year. However, there seems to a modest dip in overall cosmetic surgery demand in early January, and a peak in the spring. I assume that as people start thinking about the summer they want to have their surgery finished and be fully recovered before the nice summer weather arrives.
The busiest times in Scottsdale are March through August. The slowest months are February and September. I believe it varies between different locations. Best, Dr. Aldo
Jamari, thanks for your question this depends on the plastic surgeon, some surgeons are booked months in advance and some are not. The most important thing is to seek a board certified plastic surgeon in person for a consultation to get all of your questions answered and have an exam done, from there ask them about their availability in June. Have a wonderful day.
lag times and back to school is always a challenging time to be fully booked. January is less predictable but later summer is almost a certainty. The week of graduations is also a slower time as most people want to be there to celebrate with their families.
Hi Jamari,I'd say there are two times when plastic surgeons schedule becomes more available. February/March (tax season) and August/September (summer vacation and kids back in school) I think June is a great time to have breast augmentation surgery, but April/May or sooner is probably ideal if you want them ready for summer. Hope that helps.Best,Dr. B
Hello. The answer to your question varies based upon the focus of the plastic surgery practice that you are reviewing. The winter months of January and February may slow down for body contouring procedures with an uptick in breast cases in early spring. Have fun fun with your new look!
Thank you for your question. As mentioned already, the trends tends to vary by season and by region. In general on the East Coast most of the spring is fairly busy as people are getting ready for the summer however other procedures are equally popular during these periods. Best wishes Theodore T Nyame M.D.
Hello, I would recommend contacting your surgeon to discuss your concerns. A common cause of a small wound that appears along the incision is a stitch that comes to the surface and causes a small irritated pocket to occur. Once the stitch falls out or dissolves away, the hole usually he...
You recovery needs to be discussed carefully with your surgeon in terms of their protocol. We practice a rapid recovery protocol where early range of motion is encouraged.
Hello,Contour irregularities at the midline/sternum can be normal and usually temporarily while healing. Give your breasts at least a few months to soften and settle before evaluating results. All the best
Congratulations on your surgery and thank you for your question. You have invested your time and money for your augmentation and should not jeopardize the outcome. Two weeks after maybe yoo soon to begin vigorous chest compressions. Please check with your surgeon. I wish you well.
Hi II,Generally the larger you go the "more bimbo-like" you look. It is so great you have a photo to show your PS what you are looking for, exactly. Here are a few tips for you because this is perhaps the hardest decision for a patient to make, as well as the surgeon. Also see the video a...
Hello,You don't have it, but your implants and therefore your breast tissue are close together. You can discuss this issue with your surgeon if you want to make changes.Best of luck!
