Recovery time for subfascial implants?

Question

I'm wondering what the recovery time is for subfacial implants. I'm a mom and my partner can only take a week off to take care of our very cuddley clingy 18 month old. Would I be able to pick him up to put him in the high chair and in and out of the bath tub and lift him on the changing table ? I'm 5'6 104lbs. Getting ultra high 350cc subfascial implants.

You recovery needs to be discussed carefully with your surgeon in terms of their protocol.  We practice a rapid recovery protocol where early range of motion is encouraged.

Thank you for your question. Subfascial implants will make your recovery faster and you will not have to be as concerned about muscle activity. Most of the detailed information about your recovery and activity limitations should come from your plastic. surgeon. Each surgeon will have different methods of postoperative management. Hello, Thanks for your question. Truth is recovery time varies from patient to patient, but Subfascial implant placement  (which for me is the ideal pocket for small/moderate sized breast implants) usually allows patients to return to their normal activities (usually 5-7 days post op if you work behind a desk) faster than submuscular plane. This is mainly due to the fact that releasing the pectoral muscle (for sub muscular placement) hurst more and causes more swelling. However, I do not recommend lifting weights higher than 10 lbs for the first 3 weeks, so carrying your child may be something that you should take into account to have this surgery when someone else can give you a hand with those chores. Hope this answers your question.
