Can I be on omeprazole during Rhinoplasty procedure?

I personally do not restrict the use of PPIs for reflux prior to surgery. However it is important to mention to the anesthesia personnel when you speak with them. To be in compliance with your surgeon, I would ask this question with their office. Good luck!

It is always best to check with your operative surgeon and anesthesiologist where are you going to have your procedure performed. In our practice, taking omeprazole is not a problem before and after a rhinoplasty surgery
