1 cm of skin was removed from my nostrils during an alarplasty. My nose looks so deformed and misshapen now. Can this be fixed?

Dear Teddy1234,To be very honest, your nose looks very natural and proportional, it does not look pinched or too smallIf you look at your frontal view and drop a straight line from the inner corner of your eye to the nostril, the nostrils are still a touch wider than the distance between the eyes - this is normalI understand that your nose was just wide, but you need to narrow the nostrils if you are going to narrow the tip5mm from each side is conservative...if you remember geometry from high school, you are removing 5mm from the edge of the circle, so that narrows the nostrils (on frontal view), by just 1.5mmHarvesting septum is very common, and although you do not have a droopy tip now, it does get more droopy after surgery...unless you support it with a columellar graftIt looks like there is a disconnect between your expectations and your actual results.  Overall, your surgeon did a nice job, but it sounds like you weren't on the same page as him/her and that is why you are disappointedYour results could have been A LOT worse (asymmetric nostrils, crooked nose, arched nostrils...there are so many complications to list)I hope this helps a little...if not, you can seek out a second opinion from a well respected revision rhinoplasty surgeon who won't just take your moneyBest,Dr. Nima
