I'm a side sleeper and I can't seem to break the habit. I sleep with bunched up socks between my cleavage but it doesn't seem to help I'm wondering if I should get a lift. I need it anyway and was planning on getting one in a few years but now I'm thinking I should just do it now before my wrinkles get worse. I have 520cc implants that are only two years old they are way too low so I'm thinking I should just get the lift .
Answer: Revision Augmentation Mastopexy Hello, Your breasts are low, sagging, very large, and asymmetric. As you can see, they are not as appealing as they could be, and not having scars really doesn't make them more appealing. However, by getting a formal mastopexy, asymmetric reduction, and smaller implants your breasts will be inarguably more aesthetically pleasing, even with scars. My mantra: shape is more important than scars. Having said that, you need to go to a cosmetic breast specialist who can handle complex revision breast surgery, and who produces consistently good work with very low complication and reoperation rates. Best of luck! PS: Breast surgery will not help your wrinkles. Gentle peels or Fraxel might fix the wrinkles that are there, but you really need to avoid the sun... for the rest of your life.

Answer: Breast ptosis and chest wrinkles While a breast lift can change the shape and contour of the breasts, making them sit higher and perkier, it will not address the skin wrinkles. The best way to address the chest wrinkles is with a series of laser treatments, whether or not you do the lift. For rejuvenating the decollete, I often treat patients with IPL laser to clear up the sun damage or brown spots, and the Palomar 1540 (non-ablative fractionated Erbium laser) to resurface the skin. The Palomar 1540 will stimulate collagen while also smoothing the surface. Each of those requires a series of 4+ treatments for optimal results, and they can be done in a combination treatment. You also want to protect the area from sun exposure. Most people remember to use sunscreen on the face, but neglect the neck and decollete. Regarding the lift, based on the photos you would be a candidate for a full lift. It appears you have some asymmetry also (unless it is just distortion from the photo), that can be addressed during the same procedure.

Answer: Lift I lift will only minimally assist with wrinkles in the décolletage area. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Answer: Chest wrinkles Dear 30mommyx3,based on your photos, breast lift won't help you with wrinkles on upper chest area. Regarding the breast lift, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Breast lift will not help wrinkles in decollete While it is true that you may need a lift, it will not help the type of wrinkles that you have in your upper chest (decollete.) Ultherapy is FDA-approved for treating that area and will be more likely to give you results. When you do the lift, consider an internal bra with Galaflex mesh because your implants are on the large side and that fact that they are dropping means extra support may be needed.
