It’s been 6 months since my BBL and I have significant hardness on my abdomen. The hardness sticks out and makes my stomach not look flat. I’m hoping the hardness go away eventually otherwise I will consider a tummy tuck because my skin on my abdomen is also very loose now too.
Answer: Post Liposuction Swelling -- Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Radiofrequency (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Vanquish), Cellutone sounds like you need a revision procedure, likely skin removal and scar tissue removal to get improvement. I suggest you see an expert who is trained in botched procedures. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: May Need Tummytuck Sorry to hear about your results, but sometimes there is sagging of skin after liposuction and fat harvesting for BBL. The hardness may resolve with time. However if you do undergo Tummytuck, both of these issues should be resolved. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

Answer: Hardness after abdominal liposuction Thank you for your question. It’s hard to answer your question without examining you and feeling that area. With that said it could be scar tissue or swelling. Have you tried massaging the area? How long did you wear your compression garment? TT will address your loose skin nicely. Good luck.DrMaz

Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear kelsiebells,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately. The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well. While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result. I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Hardness After Liposuction Hi, Thank you for your question. It's hard to answer this question without examining you first and feeling the areas to determine what it could be. Often times it could be scar tissue or swelling, we recommend lymphatic massages on the Liposuction areas to soften the scar tissue. We also recommend compression garment from 8 AM to 8 PM for 3 months to help with the swelling. If your concerned about the loose skin then you might want to consider a Tummy Tuck, this will solve all of your problems. Best of luck!
