What causes burn looking scars after a BBL?

I have my bbl coming up in 4 weeks, I’ve been seeing a lot of girls on here having scars on their bellies or the sides that look like burned skin. What causes this? This really scares me!

This is probably the liposuction cannula rubbing on the skin.  To prevent this make the liposuction hole slightly bigger than the cannula and use a antibiotic lubricant such as bacitracin to prevent friction.  Lastly, place a suture in the hole to neatly close it up after finishing.

Thank you for your questionBurn looking scars after a Brazilian butt lift can be from numerous things. One of the possibilities could be burns from the garment. A garmet after surgery should be worn at the times advised along with the foam. If the garment is not being worn properly it could lead to severe burning. However , without pictures it is difficult to tell the reason for the burning.Thank you

Thanks for the question.  I would have to see the actual pictures to assess what the issue was with the previous liposuction.  Liposuction, especially energy-based and aggressive subnormal, can cause an intense scar response leading to significant skin contraction giving it the appearance of a burn scar.  This may be the issue in the photos you are referencing.

Many of the photos posted on websites or review sites are very early postop photos.  These can be a bit deceiving since the swelling makes the results look bigger than the final results will be.  Early postop photos often will have reddish lines where the compression postop garments rub into the skin and can mimic a burn scar appearance.  These red lines are temporary and disappear once the swelling goes away and the compression garments are no longer being worn.Hope this help address your question.
