I am a 31 year old female who in the last couple of years have noticed my dark under eye circles have become more prominent. I have tried a small amount of filler in the trough but would like a longer lasting solution. Would a lower blepheroplasty with fat repostitioning be suitable for me?
Answer: Eyelid Surgery Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have extra skin under your eyes and dark circles. Also your eye area is downward. For get rid of this image and gain more young, fresh and elegant look I can suggest lower eyelid blepharoplasty, fat injection to under your eye area and endoscopic brow lift. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles - Fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella); Lasers (Fraxel/CO2); Renuvion; Microneedling/PRP; Peels At home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Moxi/Halo/Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, stem cells and microneedling RF like Fractora PiXel8 or Morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Lower blepharoplasty: what you should know Thank you for your question and photos. It is possible to reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes with a lower blepharoplasty procedure. This surgical approach can smooth the transition between the eye and upper cheek by sculpting, repositioning, or removing excess fat, depending on each patient’s individual situation. By contouring and restructuring the lower lid, the eyes can appear more open, awake, and refreshed. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to assess your concern more thoroughly and determine the best treatment option for you.

Answer: Lower Blepharoplasty Common reasons for lower blepharoplasty include tear trough deformity or pseudoherniation of the orbital fat. An in-person exam would provide a more accurate diagnosis, but preliminarily based on your photos it does appear you have pseudoherniation of fat creating "eye bags.” They should also be more prominent when you look up. Transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning will provide nice results and a better lid-cheek transition in this case. Do your due diligence, find an experienced surgeon, and have him/her evaluate you in person and discuss your options. Good luck! #drdonyoo
