Hello,Thank you for your question and picture. Unfortunately this is not a normal result post CoolSculpting. You need to return to your provider to address this. Good luck!
Hi there,I have not seen a reaction post Coolsculpt such as the one in your photo. I suggest partnering up with your service provider to determine the next steps in your journey. If they have seen this before, they may have options to help speed up your recovery time. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. Burn marks of any kind are not normal following a CoolSculpting treatment. I encourage you to see your board certified plastic surgeon for an in office evaluation and proper treatment of the area. Good luck!
We have performed hundreds of Coolsculpting treatments and we have never seen this. However, I have seen this type of reaction and much worse cases reported after treatment with counterfeit machines. Either there was a malfunction with the Coolsculpting machine in which case, the treating physician should definitely report it to the company, or you did not have a Coolsculpting treatment. Speak to your doctor about reporting the incident to Allergan so that if there are issues that arise in the future, the company will take responsibility.
Thank you for your question. This is not a normal side effect of Coolsculpting treatment. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician for proper treatment to prevent further complications. Best of Luck!
I’m so sorry that you’ve been burned. This should not have happened. I suggest you follow up with your family doctor to discuss the best way to treat the burn so that your skin can heal. In the future, please be sure to only get CoolSculpting treatments from a certified CoolSculpting specialist. Best of luck.
fballa:This is absolutely not a normal reaction after CoolSculpting. I strongly advise you to have the area evaluated. Early intervention will optimize healing and outcome.Be Well
We treat many patients daily with our CoolSculpting machine and I have never seen a result like this. I would suggest you return to your practitioner to see what they suggest, but it does not look like results from the real CoolSculpting machine. There are lots of places that advertise CoolSculpting or "Fat Freezing" devices that are NOT the real CoolSculpting. Many devices offer discounted rates and claim to have the same results as CoolSculpting, but results are not the same and you can end up with damaged skin instead of reduced fat cells. If you do not feel comfortable returning to the practice that performed the treatment, you would need to go to your Primary Care Physician to assess your skin, as it does look burned. Best of luck!
Dear fballa:You poor thing! With proper treatment, this should heal without scarring.I suspect this was not a CoolSculpting device, or the gel pad was not placed under the applicator and on top of the skin before treatment. All the best to you, Dr. Clark
It looks like you've gotten all the right answers here. This is not normal. Contact the center where you had the treatment and make sure you are treating it properly as a burn.
If you have true fat in the chest area then CoolSculpting can help to reduce it. If it is extra glandular tissue then CoolSculpting will not help to remove that, only surgery. It is possible to have both types of tissue. This has to be assessed by a core...
Body sculpting can be achieved with Coolsculpting alone, or in combination with tissue tightening and skin toning therapies such as Liposuction, Exilis Multiplane Tissue Tightening, Venus Legacy, Hidef Fractional laser, and the Brazilian Cellulite Treatment with Stretch Mark Laser. I would...
Thank you for your question. There are no contradictions to taking an antibiotic after Coolsculpting treatment. I only recommend avoiding taking NSAID’s after treatment because it inhibits the inflammation response we want with Coolsculpting. I hope this helps!
