Thanks for your question! We do ask you to avoid nSAIDs following CoolSculpting because we actually want the inflammation process to occur, but there are no contraindications or reasons why you cannot take an antibiotic. Good luck with your progress and results!
While CoolSculpting does trigger your immune system to break down and remove fat cells that are destroyed during cryolipolysis, this process will not be affected one way or the other by taking antibiotics. It takes about 3 to 4 months before you see your CoolSculpting results. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who is certified by Zeltiq if you need a second or third treatment to get optimal results.
No, this won't negatively impact your results. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Taking antibiotics, including Cipro, should not affect the results of a CoolSculpting treatment you had a week ago. It can take up to 12 weeks to see the full effect from the procedure.
Good Question. Taking Antibiotics post op CoolSculpting will not have an effect on the results of your treatment outcome. You should advise with your Doctor or practitioner if you experience any medical side effects.Hope that Helps.
Thank you for your question. The antibiotics that you have been prescribed will not have an impact on your CoolSculpting results. If you have any other questions or concerns I recommend reaching out to your CoolSculpting specialist.
Thank you for your question. There are no contradictions to taking an antibiotic after Coolsculpting treatment. I only recommend avoiding taking NSAID’s after treatment because it inhibits the inflammation response we want with Coolsculpting. I hope this helps!
Antibiotics should not effect the results or effect of coolsculpting. The procedure targets fat cells which are not effected by the antibiotics. There is no link to the two.
There should be no reason to have any concern over antibiotics affecting your coolsculpting treatments. Hope you feel better soon and good luck with your treatment.
CoolSculpting freezes superficial fat cells which are then cleared by your lymph system. Antibiotics would not be a problem.
Thank you for your question. This sounds like it might be Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH). This is a rare occurrence when the fat increases in size. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician for an evaluation and treatment. Best of Luck!
When CoolSculpting first came out, the applicator used suction to pull the fat into the treatment area and freeze it. So, therefore, we generally recommend you have some “pinchable” fat — about an inch or two of extra fat. However, Zeltiq came out with CoolAdvantage, which is a flat cooli...
Body sculpting can be achieved with Coolsculpting alone, or in combination with tissue tightening and skin toning therapies such as Liposuction, Exilis Multiplane Tissue Tightening, Venus Legacy, Hidef Fractional laser, and the Brazilian Cellulite Treatment with Stretch Mark Laser. I would...
