Men can accumulate fat around the pectoral muscles, and that responds very well to CoolSculpting. Several studies have documented good results in this area. Be sure to first be examined by an experienced dermatologist however, as sometimes the tissue is not fat but actually breast tissue, which would require surgical treatment. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to evaluate your chest and determine if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting.
Hello,Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting can work in that area on the appropriate candidate. You will need to consult with a local physician in person to determine the best course of action. Good luck!
First you will need an in-person physical exam to make sure you do not have true gynecomastia which is an accumulation of male breast tissue. If this is the case then CoolSculpting will not be effective. If your chest enlargement is due to fat, then CoolSculpting can provide you with benefit and I have seen great success with this procedure in the appropriate candidate. Most men will need 2-3 rounds of treatment to the chest for optimal results. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician provider. Best wishes.
Yes, CoolSculpting can be used to reduce fat in the male chest area. I have treated men with excess fat in the breast area with CoolSculpting and seen improvement. CoolSculpting will only reduce fatty tissue though, so an exam is needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for the procedure.
There are cases of treating fat on the male chest (pseudo-gynecomastia) with CoolSculpting, but an in office exam would be necessary to determine if you would be a candidate for this. Good luck!

If you have true fat in the chest area then CoolSculpting can help to reduce it. If it is extra glandular tissue then CoolSculpting will not help to remove that, only surgery. It is possible to have both types of tissue. This has to be assessed by a core aesthetic physician such as a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to determine treatment suitability.
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is a great non-invasive treatment that works well for pinchable fat and you can expect to see 20% in reduction in 2-3 months after treatment. An in-person consultation is needed to determine if you have fat in breast and not accumulation of breast tissue. Please make sure to see an expert. Best of Luck!
Dear smitty63:If you truly have deposits of fat on the breast area and not excess glandular tissue, CoolSculpting can be very effective. Occasionally this is treated with liposuction instead, and if the breasts are protruding due to drooping and laxity of the skin and subcutaneous tissue and ligaments, threads can be placed to lift the breasts and make them much flatter. My patients tolerate the treatment without significant discomfort and usually need only one CoolSculpting treatment. All the best, Dr. Clark
Thank you for your question. The chest area is a very common area that we treat for men. Not everybody is a good candidate for the procedure, though, and you should locate a reputable provider in your area to schedule an assessment. Our patients that are qualified candidates for CoolSculpting for the chest get great results. Best of luck to you!
