Answer: Fat transfer With any surgery, there is swelling that will gradually subside. the majority of swelling is usually subsided at one month, and you can get a better idea of your size. Some do take as long as 3 months to see their final size. Remember, fat transfers are more limited than breast augmentation in the size obtained. You also may still have numbness for a few more weeks, especially in the flank area.

Answer: Fat Transfer to the Breast The most common issue after fat transfer to the breast is an inadequate amount of augmentation. Unfortunately, the usual course after fat transfer is that the breasts are the largest immediately after surgery, then gradually they get smaller as swelling subsides and some of the fat is resorbed; in other words, it is not likely that your breast size will increase from this point on. However, the numbness in the areas where the liposuction was done will improve with time over the next several months. Best wishes

Answer: How much time does it take to determine final results of fat transfer to the breasts. Although fat cells will develop blood supply in the first week after the procedure, it can take up to 6 months for residual swelling and breast restructuring to mature and see final results. Be patient and follow closely with your surgeon. Best of luck to you. Dr. Michael Omidi

Answer: Fat grafting to breasts - how long to see final results It typically takes at least 4 weeks for most of the initial swelling to go down in your breasts and donor sites, and another 1-2 months for your body to resorb all the fat that it is going to resorb. I tell my patients not to take anything at face value until at least 3 months after surgery, sometimes up to 6 months. You will also see a lot of residual swelling in the places where you had liposuction for up to 6 months sometimes, so continue to be patient before you make any final judgements. Fat grafting is not 100% predictable, so there is always the possibility if you want to go any larger you may need another round of fat transfer.

Answer: Fat injections If you don't see it now, you never will. I think that this type of augmentation should not be done. The results are not good enough, implants are tried and true and are the gold standard.
