most patients will need a few weeks off after fat transfer to the buttocks. The liposuction sites and your buttocks will be sore for several days. You will still be on pain killers. I also don't want you sitting for 2 full weeks so for a desk job you need to factor in that part as well. Sitting for long peroids of time in the begning can reduce the amout of fat that survives after the surgery. Make sure you talk with your PS about your plans for time off and you may need to postpone surgery until more recovery time is available.
Amount of time for recovery depends much on the type of work and flexibility. In general, liposuction and fat transfer recovery is quicker than most operations, however, there is always some post surgical discomfort requiring pain medications. It is difficult to work, drive and be functional while recovering. An in-person exam with aboard-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs andprovide true medical advice. I would take a few days off of work, like 3 days. If you had the surgery on a Friday you could be back at work on a Tuesday
Most patients can get back to low-impact daily activities within three to five days after liposuction and fat transfer to the breasts. A Brazilian will definitely have longer downtime. We typically ask patients not to sit on their bottom for two weeks after a Brazilian. Going back to work the day after is not reasonable. Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

A person’s own fat may be used to improve the appearance of his or her body by moving it from an area of excess (or where it is less desired, such as the thighs, hips or abdomen) to an area that has lost tissue volume due to aging, trauma, surgery, certain diseases, birth defects, or other c...
You are correct in saying it sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, in practice, the results are not very good. Most of the fat ends up being absorbed. I have seen very few cases where there is much if any size increase.
