It's best to get close to your target weight before surgery, then maintain it afterwards. Losing 75 pounds as you plan to do may necessitate a lifting procedure, depending on how your breasts respond to the weight loss.

Thank you for your question.In general, patients should be at, or close to, a stable weight before undergoing a breast augmentation procedure.  Normal weight fluctuations of about 5 lbs or so should not affect your long term cosmetic result, but as you can imagine, fluctuations of more than 10-15 lbs have the potential of drastically affecting your end result. If you have not done so already, I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a thorough evaluation and in-person consultation.  A consultation would be of tremendous value to you, as it will allow your surgeon to evaluate your entire medical profile (weight included) and determine the best course of action and timing of your procedure.I hope you find this helpful and I wish you all of the best!

In general, having a BMI of 30 or below is a safe goal for breast augmentation. Your goal of 200 lbs should put you close to that. Congratulations on the 10 pound weight loss, and good luck to you. Your body mass index should be below 30 to reduce the risks of wound healing problems and infections. You might be better off having a medically supervised weight loss program.

For health and safety reasons, best to be at a BMI less than 30 or within 10 pounds of your goal weight and stable at that weight for 6 months prior to surgery for optimal results.

I would like to affirm what my colleagues already said that there is no
ideal weight to have a breast augmentation surgery.
Changes in weight will bring changes in fat distribution of the body, and
some women who have more fat than breast tissue in their breast envelope see
their breasts’ size change over time. Going into breast augmentation surgery,
you want to have a stable weight that you don’t plan to change.
That being said, a normal BMI (18.5-24.9) is preferable for surgery for
safety of the patient as both underweight (BMI30) patients can be at higher
risk of complications such as wound infections, and clots (DVT).
