No soreness or anything after SculpSure?

Its too early to see results and its not uncommon to have a comfortable experience with the sculpsure. The patient experience varies and you should wait a full 6 weeks before you assess the results. Most patients require two treatments before they see good results and your practitioner has taken photos to assess the results. The machine will only work when there is adequate contact to the skin surface, as noted by the green lights on the applicators, otherwise it alarms when the contact is not good and will shut off the laser.

The sensation is highly variable. Some patients feeling cramping while others feel little to nothing.  I have seen great results in both categories.  The key is to communicate your lack of sensation to your doctor during the treatment so that they can increase the settings.

Sculpsure is a noninvasive 1060nm diode laser treatment that removes up to 25% of stubborn fat in the treated area in 25 minutes.It is FDA approved for the abdomen and flanks. It is safe if you get pregnant in the future.

The body contouring effects are seen in as quick as six weeks with final results at 12 weeks.

The results are permanent as long as you maintain your weight and health.

The laser targets and destroys the fat cells only which are then naturally removed from the body. Since the laser does not affect the skin or muscle it can be used on all skin colors and there has been no reported incidents of burns when treated by a properly trained physician. It is protective since it alternates heating and cooling.

It has four applicators that can be customized to treat the areas of stubborn fat.

If a second treatment is needed we wait at least six weeks and usually closer to 12.

If you notice lumps after (which I've never seen) I would recommend massage. You should also alert your surgeon.  No compression garment required.

There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities right after the treatment. There may be some soreness in the area for a few days for which you can take ibuprofen or tylenol. A cold compress can also be used.

Sculpsure is not used for skin tightening however some of our patients have seen this. If more skin tightening is needed we have combined this with thermi or Ulthera for a complete treatment. Sculpsure is recommended for stubborn areas of fat that are not being lost by diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss treatment

Since I have both a coolsculpting and sculpsure I am working on protocols of utilizing both of these depending upon what areas need to be treated and the response to the treatment.

I have used sculpsure on other areas other than the abdomen with very good results.

I also use a Vectra 3D imaging system to try and show people what their treatment areas could look like.

In almost all of my patients, the is no sensitivity issues or pain following this procedure. During the procedure there may be some burning and heat sensitivity that goes away once the procedure is over. Everyone has one side that may be more sensitive, but this is normal. Please continue to massage and don't be concerned about these issues.

While it is possible for a patient to have redness, swelling, sensitivity, or some irritation or tenderness at the treatment site, most patients don’t have any discomfort at all. There is no down time following the procedure, meaning patients can resume all normal activities immediately after the procedure with no discomfort. Keep in mind you are not likely to see results until after 12 weeks. For many patients, multiple treatments are needed to achieve the desired results. People with a higher BMI may require more treatments than individuals with average or lower BMI’s.  

It is very common to have no pain or soreness after Sculpsure. I have not seen your photos so I don't know if you were a good candidate but hope that a skilled center would not have done your treatment otherwise. Be patient and make sure you go in for the 6 week post-photo. As a high-volume specialized Sculpsure center, we often schedule two treatments up front and factor that into the cost.

Hello! Everything you are describing is perfectly normal for Sculpsure treatments. Many people vary on level of discomfort during and after the treatment. You explained yourself as a great candidate for this treatment, so just stay patient and don't be discouraged it takes up to 12 weeks to see optimal results. However many do see some results starting at the 6 week mark, maybe even sooner. Everything sounds like it went well! Good luck

Most patients don't experience significant soreness after treatment. Count yourself among this lucky group. Just because you aren't in pain does not mean that the treatment didn't work. I have found, however, that it does take 2 treatments for ideal results. I like to space them 6-8 weeks apart. Hope this helps and best of luck. 

Most people do not feel much pain or discomfort during a SculpSure treatment, I would not be worried.
