Yes, you can go right ahead and donate a kidney after a tummy tuck and or liposuction.  One really has nothing to do with the other and there is no issue with scarring either.  As a matter of fact, many times the donor kidney can be delivered through the tummy tuck incision.You're a good person to consider donation, btw...Good Luck!

If you are considered a good candidate by the transplant team for kidney donation then a tummy tuck and liposuction should not hinder this process.

As long as you are a candidate to donate a kidney, a tummy tuck should not be a contraindication. I would not recommend them as one operation.Medical and nephrology clearance in conjunction with a plastic surgeon is recommended.

I am assuming you meant to ask if it is possible to donate a kidney when you previously had a tummy tuck and are now completely healed without complications.If this is a case your ability to donate a kidney will depend on your general health conditions, but it wouldn't be compromised by a previous uneventful cosmetic procedure.

Assuming you are always a good candidate to be a good kidney donor, I do not see why undergoing tummy tuck surgery would prevent you from doing so. Best to discuss this with a nephrologist and/or transplant surgeon for definitive advice. Best wishes.

Assuming you are otherwise healthy and a compatible match, a previous abdominoplasty will not prevent you from donating a kidney. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon and the transplant surgeon, but it should not prevent you from giving the gift of life.Best Wishes,Michael Morrissey,MD
