FUE is just a harvesting method. It does not relate to results. If you want to keep your hair very short you may want the FUE. It is important to understand if you have a very high number past 2000 to 3000+ FUE harvest you will may notice donor hair depletion or gaps in your donor area where the hairs were harvested (since hairs do not regrow on those sites). Thus a #1 guard may be too short in some cases.
If done properly you can certainly wear your hair in a #1 buzz cut after FUE.As a matter of fact I have many FUT patients who are able to wear their in a buzz cut without the scar showing.
1,5 months after hair transplant all grafts take or some of them lost anyway and you can start to your normal life and do everything, including every kind of activity including buzz cut the hair. There will be almost no scar or obvious marks nor at the donor area neither at transplantation site with FUE tech. But ıf you shave your hair with razor, you or others may only realize a tiny white dots on your skin when looked very closely..They are very tiny and invisible scars of punch insertions . Actually I have no complaint about those scars before…
The great part about having an FUE hair transplant is that you can wear your hair however you want after the procedure. The transplanted hairs are the same as the native hairs and you can treat them just like the rest of your hair.
A one cut after an FUE could be a problem if the FUE was a large session over 2000 grafts as the extracted areas might show.
