How can broken capillaries from lip fillers be fixed?

It is possible to get broken capillaries or  tiny spider veins after filler  using a V-Beam laser will correct it, next time start taking arnica 2-3 days before the treatment and apply a topical vitamin K cream to the area immediately after the injections which will help to strengthen capillaries.    

There isn’t much you can do but to wait till the bruising goes away. It may take up to a week to two weeks for it to resolve.

Bruising can be seen after any injectable treatment including lip filler treatment. Certain vascular lasers including VBeam, Excel and IPL (M22, Max G, Elos Plus) could be used to expedite the healing of the bruise. 

It's possible that you may have a bruise from the treatment. We would suggest starting with a cold compress. Arnica gel can also be helpful.

Occasionally bruising does occur after lip injections.  Avoiding vitamins ,fish oil, asprin and NSAIDs prior to injections will help to minimize bruising. If bruising does occur it can be covered with a concealer makeup.IPL or a laser that targets blood vessels such as a pulsed dye or yag laser will help to speed up the healing process.

The best way to make the bruising from any injection resolve more quickly is to take Arnica and have V-Beam laser performed after the injections.  The V-Beam shortens the time of the bruising tremendously.  Please also remember not to take Vitamins, Aspirin or motrin or any other blood thinner for 10 days before your injections.  Best, Dr. Green

It’s likely a bruise as a new blood vessel would not form that quickly after filler. Bruising can be significantly reduced after treatments  using a pulsed dye laser (Vbeam or similar) or IPL treatments.  With the proper settings, the bruise will be gone in a day or two instead of a week or two. In the future, ask your doctor to use a cannula wherever possible. The area around the mouth bruises quite easily, and a cannula can greatly decrease the risk of bruising.
