Hello! I am interested in getting a breast lift and implants after losing a lot of weight, but I have a nipple tattoo. Can this be done? If so, what would be the approach? Tattoo doesn't have to stay intact but I don't want a partial tattoo left behind.
Answer: Tattoo The lift may disrupt the tattoo. You can always have the tattoo revised if needed. It may not be possible to completely remove the tattoo.

Answer: Tattoo on breast after lift Hello, thank you for your question. It is a common one and we have performed numerous surgeries on patients with tattoos on their chest. We try our best to remove the tattoo in completion however it maybe difficult in your case to remove that much skin in order to remove the tattoo. The better option would be to perform the lift taking out enough skin to tighten the pocket and to not compromise the blood supply or cause for wound healing concerns. If there is still a portion of the tattoo remaining then you can decide to either do a cover tattoo or laser tattoo removal but this would have to wait until after the incision is completely healed.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This technique will remove a majority of the tattoo but a portion will end up below the nipple. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift You can get a breasts lift but the pattern of the tattoo will be affected and some of the tattooed skin will need to be removed or rearranged. A good tattoo artist then could modify the tstoo to make it look better

Answer: Breast lift Dear Enthusiastic510999, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
