Why are my breast implants asymmetrical? (Photo)

Your asymmetry can really only be corrected with surgery- which would include raising your low implant and lowering your high implant so that they meet at a happy place in the middle!

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

At six months post op your implants are unlikely to change significantly. Correction to bring the implants into better symmetry would involve surgery. I encourage you to return to your surgeon to discuss your options.

Perhaps external ultrasound treatments could help soften the tighter side. Otherwise, you will need surgery to lower that implant.

Your breast asymmetry (seen in your single photo) may benefit from a revision. You should return to your plastic surgeon to discuss and decide upon the best option(s) for your care. At the time of your re-examination, issues of present capsule firmness and breast positions can be discussed. The pre-surgical breast positions on your chest can be reviewed, as well.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note that your right breast demonstrates implant drop out (or bottoming out) where the implant drops below the fold at the bottom of the breast. This phenomenon occurs more commonly in patients with scant breast tissue, or if larger sized implants were used. If the supporting tissues of the crease are not strong enough to hold the implant in place, the implant will drift downward.It is difficult to ascertain left implant positioning as your emoji obscures nipple areolar placement.At 6 months out from your procedure, the implant has settled into position and will not demonstrate any further significant change. You may wish to consider revision. 15% of cosmetic surgeries will benefit from secondary revision. Revisit your plastic surgeon for evaluation, examination, and discussion.Best wishes...

After 6 months post-op I don't think your breasts will change much. You should return to your surgeon for evaluation. Also you should review your pre-op photos to see if there was a prior asymmetry.
