I had a breast augmentation in October 2020 where my implants were too small for my frame and too far apart. In October 2021 I had a revision surgery to switch to new silicone gel implants that were wider set for my frame. My left implant has slight ripples I can feel in the top half of the outer edge of my breast. And when I bend in the shower to shave I feel a slight tightness in the left implant. It feels tight but it’s still soft and it was the smaller tighter pocket.

Pain can be caused by scar tissue, usually the capsule, trapping or pinching as small sensory nerve. Sometimes Gabapentin can help or nerve blocks. Sometimes going down in size will also relieve the pain.
There is always something that can be done to improve a result after plastic surgery. With subglandular implants which make the breast heavier, the skin can stretch and the breasts can become droopy or ptotic. In my experience, sun exposure and tanning bed treatments are a risk factor for this...
