Is it normal at 11 days post op to still have 1 “frankenboob” and other breast settling nicely? Very noticeable size difference!
Answer: Post Op Concerns - Appearance of Breasts Hi randibo77, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process at 11 days post op. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. Also, your breasts can drop at different rates. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss the possibility of revision surgery. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Answer: Size difference after augmentation It can take several months for all the swelling and differences to even out after a breast augmentation. You should see your surgeon and discuss and have them examine you to make sure there is not a fluid or blood collection but if it is normal swelling it can take 2-3 months for things to even out. Be patient and follow your surgeon's instructions and it should improve with time.

Answer: Is a noticeable size difference 11 days post-breast augmentation normal? 88% of patients have breast asymmetry before breast augmentation. Any asymmetry that you have before surgery will be visible after surgery. If the same size breast implants were used and 1 breast was smaller and higher before surgery that could explain the asymmetry that you see now.You early in recovery and it can take 3 months for the implants to drop into place and reach their final position on your chest wall.I would recommend that you see your plastic surgeon for an person examination and possibly whether you can start breast implant displacement exercises to help the implants asymmetry.

Answer: Early size and shape difference It is certainly not uncommon. It always makes everyone a little uneasy, understandably. However, implants take time to settle. Muscles take time to relax. Sometimes tissues on one side are tighter than the other. In the end, this almost always corrects itself. I imagine you will see a great deal of improvement over the next couple of weeks, and certainly over the next couple of months. As hard as it is, try not to worry too much. I hope that helps. Best of luck with everything.
