Hi. You should allow time for your implants to drop and fluff before they can take their final shape. This often takes 3 to 6 month. Submuscular/dual plane implants always initially sit very high and settle into position slowly as the muscle stretches.

However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. 550ccs are very large implants. They have not gotten any smaller over the last 12 dayis, but have dropped into a normal position and no longer up under your chin. Give it a few months to see the final result. Good luck.

Hello. Don’t be discouraged this early on in your recovery process! Your implants seem to have started to settle into a lower, more natural-looking position—what you might hear referred to as “dropping and fluffing.” Over the next several weeks, your implants should continue to settle into the breast pocket, and swelling and bruising should diminish. Since it can take up to six months to see your final breast augmentation results, try not to become too focused on what your breasts look like at this early stage of recovery.

Hello and thank you for your question and photos. What you are likely experiencing is post-operative swelling and inflammation dissipating as your implants settle into the pocket. You need to allow a minimum of 3-6 months before you will see your final results. Until then, you should follow-up with your surgeon as suggested by him/ her and allow your body to heal.

Some swelling is expected with surgery, but you chose large implants. If you look at your before photos, I'm sure you can see a big change in size.

I am absolutely certain that you will see a significant enlargement with 550 cc breast implants. Understand that your implants need to drop into proper position over the next 3 months and will look fuller and more normal once they are in their final position.
