25-year implant removal, lift and some tissue removal, going from a 36G to a 36D. However, my breasts now have an horizontally oval shape. Also, where the inverted “T” incision is on my right breast, it’s “pinned” tightly against the chest wall, causing a pucker. I wanted a less wide look, but still just as wide as before. Do you have experience with this issue and/or any suggestions to make the breast more rounded and aesthetically pleasing? See before/after photos. Many thanks
Answer: Breast shape To correct the shape you will need to consider a revision with potentially a reduction. One option you may be a candidate for is auto augmentation. This approach uses your own tissue to provide more upper pole fullness. This is not fat grafting. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Odd shape after implant removal Dear mlgrvs103, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Bellesoma Method As you can see, your breast lift did not lift the nipple-areola complex or breast tissue. Your breast tissue is still low on the chest wall and you have nothing in the upper chest. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Odd shape after implant removal / breast lift Hello @mlgrvs103, thank you for your question. It is important to note that after the removal of implants, the skin and tissues of the breast may be stretched or sagging, which can lead to a less-than-ideal appearance. If you do decide to have a lift, the most optimal and aesthetically adequate option would be immediate reconstruction with the BRALAN technique (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift Augmentation) combine with a breast lift to provide a natural and lifted appearance. Please find below a video that sheds more light on the matter. If you are considering a breast explantation, consultation with a plastic surgeon who is experienced in this procedure is essential to ensure optimal results. I link a video to shed more light. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
