I am now almost 7 weeks post-abdominoplasty and absolutely thrilled with my results. I always had a fairly narrow waist but after two giant babies and a pretty significant diastasis recti (and physical therapy that helped a bit), I realized there was no way I was going to get anywhere near my baseline without surgery. I am just stunned at how amazing I feel after surgery with Dr. Millard and so excited to be able to wear form-fitting tops and dresses again! The wild thing is I know I am still swollen to some degree and these aren’t even my “final” results.

One thing that sets Dr. Millard apart from the other surgeons some of my friends have used is the careful follow up. One of my friends used another local surgeon and while her results were wonderful, she only had one total follow-up visit which ended up being with a nurse instead of the surgeon himself (I’m sure many nurses are more than capable of assessing healing but it struck me as odd and like a major cash grab—with no follow-up the doctor is free to perform a higher number of surgeries but perhaps with less oversight of the actual outcomes). Dr. Millard has a set follow-up schedule and sees his patients himself. I thankfully had zero complications but in the case that I had, the problem would have been caught easily at a follow-up visit. He is also very big on a healthy lifestyle which I appreciated—he’s not just looking to change you with surgery but to support your body holistically. Thank you Dr. Millard!

I’m a 43 year old mother of 4. I’m so grateful I chose Dr. Millard for my procedure. I had a positive experience from day one with him and his staff. He answered all of my questions, made sure I was safe for surgery and ordered additional labs. He is a sculptor, I absolutely love my new curves. Getting dressed for work in the morning is so easy, I look good in any outfit I put on. He did one heck of a job enhancing my figure.

I surprisingly had a speedy recovery. I was off pain meds by the 4th day after my tummy tuck with muscle repair. I followed my surgeons recommended diet and took it easy as he suggested. Here are my 10 days post op pictures

Cleared to return to the gym and work on enhancing the great body my aesthetic designer gave me. The recovery has been better than I expected. I wasn’t put in a restricting faja/garment and I think that made a huge difference in my recovery. I planned for a long and hard recovery, I took two full weeks off work. But felt better in less time than I expected. Continued with the diet my surgeon gave me, continued to consume the supplements he provided and I feel great.

Wanted this forever. I always knew my breasts were a little off, bu I am so excited there is hope :). I got 330cc high profile sientra. I had a lot of pain upon waking but. However, I’m doing a lot better day one post op.

Still riding high but dropping and becoming softer slowly! Im wearing my band most of the day and no exercise except going to the store and doing some laundry. Cabin fever! I’m excited to see what’s to come and will keep posting updates. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions at all.

For years I struggled with getting rid of my Belly fat, due to a pregnancy/c-section. I tried all kinds of diets, personal trainers...and nothing was working. After trying everything you'd think of to lose weight, I started thinking about surgery. I was very hesitant, unsure, scared...till I met Dr. Millard for a consultation. 

After my first one, I knew he was the one and I knew I came to the right place. He is very easy to talk to, trustworthy, very knowledgeable, and very patient; he took his time to answer all the questions I had and was always available to see me when I had more concerns. 

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago, let me tell you the level of care you'll get at this office is indescribable. Few hours after my surgery, Dr. Millard called my husband to make sure I was doing well and he went through the aftercare instructions with him. And, told us to call him anytime if we had any concerns.



I'm still healing but I can already see the difference... I'm very happy. I can't wait to see the final results. And let's not forget about his amazing team, they are caring, kind, friendly, professional, always there to assist you, they make me feel at home and safe...I love them all !! I highly recommend Dr. Millard, I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. He's the best, I m already thinking about my other procedure with him. I have had a great experience with Dr. Millard and his practice. I was impressed at the first consultation with his vast knowledge, extensive research and implementation of his VASER liposuction technique, and thorough examination to determine if I would be a suitable candidate. I did not know very much about plastic surgery, and what to expect, but I left the consultation feeling very confident in choosing Dr. Millard for my surgery. I had an athletic frame all throughout my 20's and 30's but noticed I was getting the dreaded "Dad Bod" as I entered my early 40's. I tried several workout programs, and healthy eating plans and while I was losing weight on the scale there were several stubborn fat pockets that would not budge. I decided to move forward with the procedure. The day of surgery came and I appreciated the care of Kelly the nurse and Dr. Millard's fantastic bedside manner. I had elected to have the surgery not under general anesthesia and while I was awake, I enjoyed bantering with Dr. Millard and his staff!

Post Op through Day-7 was definitely tough, I was lucky to have my wife to take care of me and assist with the compression garments, and lightly massaging the areas treated. As someone who has never had any major surgery, it was quite a shock as to all the emotions I felt, and discomfort of sleeping on my back. I will say that Dr. Millard was always available to me by text or call when I had questions or concerns. I also knew that I needed to focus on my end goal and that the healing process was just part of the journey. I am now 18 days post op and feeling very confident in what my results will be. I could see a difference in my shape almost immediately, and although there is still swelling that comes and goes, I know the results will only continue to get better - along with continuing my proper diet and exercise of course! I am really am looking forward to this summer, in my swim trunks and fitting better in my suit jackets. I would certainly recommend Dr. Millard and his practice to my family and friends.

I rely on reviews but hardly ever write them! I had to take the time to say Dr Millard and staff are great, I have always had trust issues but my husband and I felt good about trusting him with my bbl from day 1 . After having 4 children and being in my early 40s I felt I needed a little boost! Although it was a subtle change I feel more confident and motivated, My body looks better than my before baby body.

I had gynecomastia surgery with traditional liposuction in May 2017. Now I am looking forward to tackling the second phase of my body makeover goal with HD Vaser Lipo with a mini tummy tuck. I've chosen Dr. Millard for the procedure. He's been a doctor I've followed for quiet awhile. He is truly an artist and works hard to achieve patient satisfaction.

The post surgery pain in the recovery room was pretty bad, but the nurses were great and got it under control. I am doing better pain wise today. You can definitely see huge changes already. I am hoping there is a dramatic change once the swelling goes down. I had extensive swelling in my “man parts” and I am bruised pretty bad. My drain is really taking out a lot of fluid. Dr. Millard called to checkup on me last night which I appreciated. I was able to sleep through the night which I wasn’t expecting. The pain today is tolerable with medication.

Day 3
My pain had diminished quiet a bit. I was to walk around a good bit. Most of the pain I had was in my back because I wasn’t able to stand up right. I didn’t take any pictures today.

Day 4
Today is day 4 and my lymphatic massage. The massage was better than I expected. I m resting a lot today because tomorrow I am going back to work, even if it’s just for 4 hours.

It’s now day 11. I have been in compression for 4 days now. I still have my drain and I am still recording nearly triple the rate I need to get it out, unfortunately. It’s definitely changed to more of a yellow/orangish color drainage. Stitches in my bellow button and my nipples are still in. The tummy tuck incision no longer bothers me, although it’s still swollen. The pain in my abdomen is pretty mild but it hurts under my armpit pretty bad. My sides are still pretty swollen and I have my fingers crossed they even out and look good.

Quick 3 week post op update.
My drains are still in at 3 weeks! For whatever reason my body just keeps producing fluid. I am right at 50ccs in a 24 hour period. I have an appointment to remove my drain tomorrow, even though they want the fluid to be at 25ccs in a 48 hour period.They don’t like to leave them in over 3 weeks for risk of infection. For whatever reason my pain level has increased the last two days which is odd because I was feeling pretty good. Tylenol and Celebrex doesn’t seem to be touching it. I’ve also found it kind hard standing up straight again. I am looking forward to the swelling going down so i can see the full result. My flanks (love handles) have been my concern throughout this process as they look pretty big compared to my stomach, but I know they are still swollen because they are sore.
I’d also like to say the staff at my surgeons office are wonderful. Paula, Kelly, and Dana are always friendly and answer all my questions. I’ve always enjoyed my conversations with Dr. Millard. His son and I went to the same university, so we usually talk about football. How many doctors give you their personal cellphone number if you have any questions or concerns? Dr. Millard does that.

It was a wonderful experience working with Dr. Millard and his team. They made the entire process smooth, easy and RELAXING! I appreciate each and every one of them for making it a personable, enjoyable experience. And of course my results are AMAZING! I couldn’t be happier. Thank you all!

I had my chin liposuction done by Dr. Millard near Denver and I have to say he's the best in Colorado. The Millard Plastic Surgery staff were very personable and the surgery was a huge success. I am about 3-months post op and I am so happy with my results! I highly recommend him to anyone/everyone especially if they want liposuction done by the best!

2 years before finding Dr. Millard, I was in a serious auto accident sustaining injury to my lumbar spine. After physical therapy I began working out to strengthen my core which was useless because my abdominal muscles never returned after 2 very large babies. Having a tummy tuck was initially cosmetic but ultimately has given me back a life. I couldn’t sit or stand for more than 30 minutes without pain and now I am able to travel and am back to my active life pre-car accident. I also look amazing and having just turned 50, I’m so happy I went ahead last year and had the work done.
