Only on the basis of in person evaluation one can decide whether lipoma may be treated with liposuction or it would require excision. In general, there should not be a problem with doing lipoma surgery and liposuction in the same time; this needs to be discussed with your surgeon before surgery. good luck.

Your lower back lipoma should pose no issues with your upcoming liposuction procedure. Many times the lipoma may be suctioned out during the procedure as well.Dr. T
If you had in person consultations you should’ve discussed your lipoma , at the time. I suggest you contact your provider and check in with them. Some plastic surgeons may have an issue with lipomas though I would guess most do not.I personally do not recommend removing lipomas with liposuction.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
