Is it safe to put filler on top of a chin implant?

Hi! I was wondering is it safe to put filler on top of a Chin inplant? I believe I can use more projection and I do not want to have another surgery. My procedure was completed approximately 10 years ago. Thank you

Hello !

Yes, it can be done. The injecter should stay away from injecting directly onto the implant. Therefore, they must stay in the overlying soft tissue and use vector 90 technic.

Hello ! thank you for your question 10 years have passed since the surgery, of course, it may be time to make some adjustments, don't worry to having previous surgery is not an obstacle for filler. l need more information and photos to decide which filler would be the most adapted in your case.

Filler can be safely injected in the area of a previous facial implant with good sterile technique.  Silicone implants become encapsulated so it is recommended to stay outside the capsule with the injections.

Each provider will have the rock you, I suppose most would probably be comfortable with it. some injectors will push the needle all the way until they hit the bone. In your case, the needle would probably go into the implant. Ask your providers.
