Unhappy with chin implant size, would an XL implant make a difference?

I had chin implant and the doctor said i should go with XL size but at the day of the procedure he put size L instead because he thinks it will look better but for me i think it’s still small for me and i need bigg One what should i do now I can’t pay for another procedure because it’s sound unfair to me plus I’m on a low budget Is it that bad ? And will XL size give me much of a difference?

Your pre-op photo shows a small recessive chin. The post-op photo shows an improvement but it is still recessive. There is actually not a big difference a large implant and extra large implant. I think that a sliding genioplasty would have been preferred in order to truly balance your face. With a sliding genioplasty, the chin can be advanced 9-10. This generally requires a custom implant.

It is sometimes very difficult to select appropriate impant size. We routinelly use two sizers in surgery before making final decision; however it is not always enough. Patient has much more time after surgery to check result and make up his mind. There is nothing wrong replacing current implant with larger one. Good luck.
