Had my BBL August 4, 2022 After 6th months my BBL shrunk in a major way. Pictures at 5 months post opp on the right January 8th & pictures from today. 5 months post opp is way more round. The only thing I can think of is I reduced my carb intake and I fasted from January 31st to February 3, only eating dinner. I still weigh the same. Although I did initially lose 5 lbs. Could doing those two things negatively impact my results and if I go back to carbs will the roundness return?
Answer: BBL shrinkage at 6 months Hello @Charming867505, thank you for your question. Depending on the surgical technique and approach the fat that would surviver could be 80% more or less. It is important, however, to carefully examine every case, to have a consultation, and to consider factors such as your body features, age, needs, and expectations. Best wishes!! Answer: BBL shrinkage Dear Charming867505, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. Answer: Assessment of the BBL results We typically do not make plastic surgery assessments with pictures of people in the clothing. To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure we typically require seeing proper before and after pictures. Weight fluctuations will have an impact on body fat. Liposuction and fat transfer results are typically stable at 3 to 6 months from the procedure. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
