It would be best to follow your PS suggestions for the initial recovery period then reassess the results 6months from surgery. At that time a revision can be considered based on what you look like. At 7w its too soon to consider revision of anything as you are still healing and nobody will consider any sort of revision at 7weeks post op
Thank you for your question. I would follow the suggestion of your board certified facial plastic surgeon for post-recovery improvement. In the meantime, please continue to follow the recovery instructions provided by your surgeon and medical team.Best wishes,
It appears that revision may be needed sometimes in the future. Micro-needling and ultra therapy may be used in the meantime to thicken the skin and soften inside scars. Considering amount of skin on your neck it appears that face/neck lift would be a better option? However, you should wait at least 6 months if not longer for new surgery. Second opinion consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in face/neck lift surgery is recommended. Good luck.
Allow a total of 6 months for healing and then consider surgical revision if you are still unhappy. The least expensive option is to have your original doctor revise it.
Sorry for the poor neck results, but in my over the RS internet opinion you need full open neck lifting surgery. BUT must allow 6 months healing. Revision fees could range from $8,000 to $15,000.
Thank you for your question and sharing your experience.I would echo the sentiment of others in saying that you should wait at least 6 months or more before considering any revisionary procedures. The healing process takes at least that long to see your final result. Although you are unhappy now, patience is important and revisions are sometimes necessary. More problems could arise if you decide to proceed hastily. Follow the advice of your plastic surgeon in this postoperative period. Best of luck.
