I had a lift and new implant. I have motiva 340cc under muscle. Before I had 330cc implant on top of the muscle. My bra size was 12D. Now I’m 12C. My request was to be the same size of my bra, size D. Now my Doctor tells me if I want to be a D I need to go with 400cc full profile and I will look bad. I don’t know what to do. But I’m not happy with my breast now. It’s looks little flat and small.
Answer: Size If you feel you are too small, then go up to 400 cc's. Your surgeon can examine and measure you and tell you what range of sies best fits your frame and tissue.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear lusy 29, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast augmentation outcome Breast augmentation outcomes are generally based on three variables. The first is patient candidacy. Not everybody seeking breast augmentation is an ideal candidate. Understanding your candidacy is an important part of recognizing what the procedure can or cannot accomplish. The second variable is implants selection in regards to shape size and type. The third variable is the surgeons ability to place the implant in the correct anatomic location. This is not related to whether the implant is placed above or below the muscle. Both approaches are acceptable, though I believe most plastic surgeons lean towards a sub-muscular augmentation as being a superior procedure. having breast ptosis is part of your candidacy for the procedure and needing a breast lift ads complexity to both assessment and surgical execution. To make an assessment for the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you’ve had more than one operation, then we should generally have access to before and after pictures of each of your previous procedures.Without including pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. If you want to get a second opinion consultation, then I suggest scheduling those as in person consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community. For second opinion, consultations come prepared bringing with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and copies of your previous operative reports. These should all be available from your current or previous providers upon request. They are part of your medical record. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
