Question

yes you can get more definition, sculpting and smaller figure if you have tight skin to begin. adding renuvion helps and grafting to the hips. I suggest you see an expert. Best, dr. Emer.

Based on these photos, I have no doubt that you can achieve this result with weight loss (10 lb.?). Other option would be to do conservative liposuction. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.

Dear Magical836343,
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

No, you will not be able to get a waist quite that small because of your ribs. However, excess fat can be removed to improve your shape.

Andrew M. Ress, MD · Answer

Looks like you had a tummy tuck. The areas of the flanks, and torso can be thinned out with liposuction. The limiting factor is the skin elasticity and how much fatty tissue there is between the skin and the muscle. Obviously the skin can only shrink down to the level of the muscle. I would be able to tell better by actually examining you rather than seeing a Photoshopped image.
Best of luck

Camille Cash, MD · Answer

Liposuction is used to remove excess fatty tissue in order to sculpt and define your shape. The amount of change you can expect varies on the amount of fat you have as well as your anatomy. Your bone structure is set and cannot be changed with liposuction. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss the procedure and what you can anticipate in terms of results.

Dear Magical,
I feel your wish pic is certainly realistic even with a moderate liposuction. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon and review their pics.

The impact of liposuction depends on each individual patients unique candidacy combined with the skill and experience of the plastic surgeon. patients who have thick layers of subcutaneous fat can typically expect a more dramatic result while those who are lean tend to have less dramatic results but often look better in the end.

Liposuction is definitely an option to create the body change you are describing.

I typically view the torso as a single anatomic unit I need to treat all of the torso or don’t treat the patient. There are exceptions but in order to leave someone with a natural within even fat distribution generally the full torso it should be treated. A full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, full back and under arms.

Results for this procedure very quite a bit among different providers.

I recommend vetting surgeons carefully.

Do so by having multiple in person consultations.

Ask each provider to show all of their before and after abdominal or torso Liposuction pictures during the consultation. Asked to see results that were less than what the provider had hoped for and discuss why the results look the way they do.

An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing 50 sets of before and after pictures. Highly experienced surgeons well have 100s or possibly even thousands.

Lastly consider reading all the reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with and unusual high number of justified and negative reviews.

Best,
