I had grade 4 bilateral CC beginning VERY early on at my initial BA. I am very swollen and bruised and have bilateral drains which are filling up several times a day. I'm 3 days post op

Hi there-Without knowing the details of your surgery and examining you, it would be unethical and possibly unsafe for me to advise you- please call your surgeon's office asap- only your surgeon would be able to either put your concerns to rest or advise you of a problem.

Hello,I'm in agreement with Dr. Corbin, unfortunately.  Capsular contracture is stimulated by excessive bleeding around the implant, and after a capsulectomy, there should be very little red in the drain, especially after the first 6 to 12 hours. There should be no bruising.  Please follow up with your surgeon as soon as possible.

Your own surgeon is in the only position to know what is reasonable based on the details of the surgery. While the amount seems high, there is no way to know what is normal for your specific case without being there.

Some fluid in the drains is normal, it is difficult to say what is too much for you. Best to discuss this with your surgeon.

Unfortunately, online consultants will not be able to be of much meaningful help to you. Whether or not the amount of drainage you are having is normal (varies from patient to another) or a sign of a potential problem such as bleeding, can only be determined clinically by your plastic surgeon. Ideally one one like to see minimal to no drainage following your procedure and clear rather then bloody drainage.  That said I would bring your concerns to your surgeon so he can evaluate them.
