Which should be done first, lip lift or face lift? I want a different surgeon for each procedure?

Ideally both procedures can be performed simultaneously so you undergo only one period of recovery.  If you decide to go to separate doctors, I would recommend the facelift first with possible fat grafting.  After a few months you can evaluate whether the lip lift is necessary.  

I would recommend that you initially undergo the facelift prior to lip lift. If your prefer different doctors for each procedure. I would make sure that you feel comfortable with your surgeon before you embark on either procedure. 

You are correct. The lip let is less commonly done, and the results are not nearly as good as you may like to believe.  I would have the facelift done and probably skip the lip lift.  Save the money.

TO specifically answer your question, facelifts typically  do not effect the same area that a lip lift does, hence, you can do the procedures in any order that you like.  

I usually perform both of these procedures at the same surgery, as I have quite a bit of experience performing both of these procedures.  If you decide to do the lip lift separately, the procedure itself takes an hour or so to perform, usually being done under oral sedation and local anesthesia, with a 7 day recovery period before the sutures get removed.

 I recommend that you find a surgeon you trust whose results you admire.  Then, review your options with them.  In general, I only would recommend a lip lift in a very select group of patients.  The order is not necessarily important but I would review in detail the recommendations.  Good luck.

I would think that your facelift surgeon should be able to do the lip lift, which in my opinion is a less complicated procedure. That being said the order is completely up to you related to recovery and healing. 

I agree with other Surgeons in urging restraint with the Liplift. In my opinion, it is a very hard procedure to make look great in anyone's hands. There are so many other options to rejuvenate the peri oral area.  A Facelift on the other hand is the cornerstone of facial rejuvenation.   If you decide to proceed with both, there is no particular order which is correct.

The most important decision is selecting the right surgeon for you. The order does not make much of a difference, but you should have that discussion with your doctor. PLEASE  look at the surgeons results, the lip lift can be very deforming if not done correctly, depending on your situation.
