Hi and thank you for your question! While the gauge of needle has little bearing on the results of the Botox treatment, going with lower gauge (i.e. thinker needle) causes unnecessary discomfort and increased risk of bruising, so Botox injection should be done with the finest needle possible. I hope it helps and good luck!
A 27 gauge needle is a bigger needle than a 32 gauge needle. The 27 gauge needle is unnecessarily large. It will be more painful than a sharp 32 gauge needle and more likely to cause bruising. The larger gauge number corresponds to the thinner needle. Provided the needle is sharp, the thinner needle will be more comfortable than the larger needle.
Thank you for sharing your question. In general any material can be injected with a smaller gauge (large diameter) needle, but the reverse is not always the case. Liquids like Azzalure are best injected with higher gauge needles to reduce the chance of bruising and pain. Hope this helps.
A 32 is actually finer than a 27. I am not surprised that the 27 was more painful.... The size of the needle will not affect the results, however. Hope this helps
Thank you for your question. The higher the gauge of the needle, the thinner it is. While needle size has no impact on the final results of your Azzalure treatment, a 27G needle is unnecessarily large. Larger needles are more uncomfortable for patients and have a higher risk of causing bruising. I typically inject Botox with a 31G needle to minimize discomfort. I hope this helps!
so a 32 gauge needle is the finest we have and likely to cause the least pain for botox. 27 is quite large. Pain perception is down to many thanks, mostly in my experience anxiety and tension. If you were more relaxed the second time that could easily be the cause. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin
Thanks for the question. The size of the needle has no bearing on the results of the treatment. The higher the gauge of the needle, the smaller the needle. I inject Botox using a 31 gauge needle to minimize discomfort. A larger 27 gauge needle is not needed for Botox injection and may cause unnecessary discomfort.
The gauge of the needle does not affect the Botox, Dysport or Xeomin treatment. The higher the gauge of the needle, the more comfortable it is for the patient.
Azzalure, is the same as Dysport and I am unaware that this is available and FDA approved in USA. A 27 G needle might be used to draw this up out of the bottle but this product is best injected with a 30 G or smaller to better control injection size, pain and bruising. However, if properly injected by an experienced physician the results should be the same. Be sure that you are using an experienced physician who is using fresh approved products when having things injected into your face.
Botox can be injected with any size needle as it is mostly saline The smaller the needle the less discomfort. I use 32 gauge
When you have a very strong glabellar line and a deep furrow you may need combination therapy. If you have a very strong muscle and have had a depression of your tissue using filters such as Restylane, Voluma or Juvederm will be helpful. Often times paralyzing the muscle is not enough. Care...
Hi and thank you for your question! Since you just had Botox 4 days ago, you still need to wait as it can take as much as 2 weeks for the full results of the Botox the final look to settle. At that time if you are still having problems, it can be easily fixed by small touch ups and it would...
Sometimes the forehead area will appear smooth except for a small area. I would recommend a follow-up with your injector for a few more units of Botox. This is not unusual. The location or placement of the Botox is more important than the actual number of units. Good luck
Thank you for your question. You're right it usually takes a couple days and up to 14 days for the botox to relax the muscles. You may be one of the rare ones who have it work that fast, enjoy the early benefit.
Hi gone2cycle,The question you ask is an excellent one. If you received Botox the appearance or results are gradual. Commonly at around day for people still have motion, the full range, but it takes greater expression to create the "before" effect. At 1 week the line share of ne...
Hello, and thanks for your question. As long as all signs of infection and swelling are gone, you should be fine to get BOTOX® and fillers. However, just to play it safe, I would suggest checking in with your doctor before making an appointment for injectable wrinkle treatments. You might also ...
