One eyebrow is frozen while other has normal range of motion 4 days post Botox, is this normal? (photos)

Hi and thank you for your question! Since you just had Botox 4 days ago, you still need to wait as it can take as much as 2 weeks for the full results of the Botox the final look to settle. At that time if you are still having problems, it can be easily fixed by small touch ups and it would be best to do a follow up with your doctor at that time. Botox is a temporary treatment and in worst case, any undesirable results will be short-lived. I hope it helps and good luck!

It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Asymmetry may be due to Botox placement and can be improved with additional Botox. Botox results last 3-4 months. If you're unhappy with your results, they can be softened with venus legacy treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Please don't be concerned . Sometimes botox starts working on one side faster than the other.
Botox takes up to 2 full weeks to reach its end point. If at this stage it is still the same then please go back to your doctor and it can be tidied up.
Whenever we inject for horizontal forehead lines there is always a chance by relaxing this muscle that it can drop the brow by one to 2 mm. This is why we always start low with the dose.  The drop usually lasts 4 weeks and then is released a little. This is important feedback for the Doctor as he/she will then lower the dose next time.

It can take up to two weeks for your final Botox results. There is a good chance that this asymmetry is temporary. However, if you still aren't happy after two weeks then schedule an appointment to see your injector. Best of luck.

For Botox to take full effect takes 7-10 days.   It usually kicks in first in some areas before it takes on full effect.   Xeomin is another neuromodulator that usually kicks in faster than Botox.  But,  all three neuromodulators approved in the US (Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) take about 2-10 days to kick in and last about 3 months.   After a while, when the muscles relax the effect can last longer, even 5 months.  You are totally within the norm.   Just hang on a few more days.  Regards, Dr. Onir

It can takes 7-14 days to see the full effects of Botox treatment. Sometimes, the Botox will "kick in" unevenly and gradually even out over 7-14 days. If after 14 days you remain unsatisfied with your results, I would followup with your injector to discuss your concerns and to see what can be done. Good luck.

You should wait 10 - 14 days after injection to assess the final result.  Early asymmetry may even out in that time.  Your injector can address any asymmetry that may persist after that point.

It will take another week to see the full effect of your Botox treatment.  If you still have asymmetry, please return to your doctor for a touch-up of more Botox.

The asymmetry could be a result of Botox having been placed a little lower on one side, and not enough on the outer part of the other side. As advised here, wait for a couple of weeks, then consider a touch up to improve the asymmetry - the left side  in the pic, shows a little Spock effect, which can easily be corrected.

Be patient and give the Botox two weeks to fully kick in before doing anything. If you have asymmetry your doctor will correct it
