Answer: Filler and issue If you have a dusky appearance and pain, the main concern would be a vascular occlusion which many would treat with hyaluronidase to try to dissolve the filler product. Best of luck.

Answer: Pain and Discoloration after Juvederm Your symptoms sound worrisome for a possible vascular occlusion or a blockage in a blood vessel. It's not possible to say for sure but you need to see an experienced injector as soon as possible for in person evaluation and treatment. Juvederm can be dissolved with injections of hyaluronidase if needed.

Answer: Pain, swelling, blue areas after Juvederm to laugh line is a concern and an emergency This is very difficult to diagnose without a picture but it sounds like there is vascular occlusion. I would immediately seek another opinion from a more experienced physician. You don't have a lot of time if this is vascular occlusion. Hyaluronidase, massage, heat, and blood thinners should be done if it is. See my link and start calling someone. Blunt cannulas reduce this risk significantly.

Answer: Could be a serious complication What you are describing sounds like a possible serious complication resulting from inadvertent intravascular injection of filler. I recommend you find either a board certified Dermatologist, or plastic surgeon immediately. They may need to inject Hyaluronidase, and apply nitro past to the area to prevent skin necrosis. I also recommend that you take and aspirin. When filler gets into an artery the blood flow stops; injecting Hyaluronidase can dissolve the filler and restore blood flow. This complication is rare but can and does happen. Please make a call to the doctor that injected you and explain that you think this is what is happening; if they do not have the treatment readily available, they need to help you get in to someone who can handle this complication. I do not think ER's have the enzyme available.
