How many syringes of Juvederm do I need for the results I'm looking for? (photos)

Juvederm Ultra Plus can last a little longer than Juvederm Plus, so be sure which product that is being injected. Also, you may just need a larger amount injected to acheive your desired results. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.I hope this helps.

There is no magic answer to that
question. JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus might be a better choice for you instead of the JUVÉDERM
Ultra. Ultra Plus is thicker and will give you a fuller and longer-lasting
result. It is not unusual to have to add more filler after the swelling subsides.
Fillers also last longer in different areas of the face. The lips have strong
muscles that move more than other muscles in your face. The more aggressive
motion will cause the filler to dissipate more than if it were placed in areas
with less muscle motion. That could also explain why the filler doesn't last
long in your lips. Talk to your provider about your goals. Best of luck.

Hi... even though you
want the "swollen" result to be your actual long term result I would
encourage and counsel you to go slowly and progressively to obtain the
long term look you want. There is no magic number of syringes it
may take but placing them one at a time to build up to the look you
want is likely to be the best and most appropriate way to get you you to

If you were injected with Juvederm Ultra last time, perhaps you need Juvederm Ultra Plus this time. Juverderm Ultra plus is thicker and typically lasts longer than Juvederm Ultra. Depending on the size of your natural lip and the desired size you could need anywhere from 1 syringe to 3 syringes, however I would not inject more than 2 syringes at a time. Lip augmentation is an art and the results are dependent as much on the injectors technique as they are on the amount injected.

It seems like you need more product.  Juvederm is the ideal filler for the lips.  Likely, the reason you like the way it looks directly after the procedure is because the lips are swollen in addition to being filled.  Once the swelling goes away, you're probably noticing that it is not enough.  I would start with 1-2 syringes at first and then see you back in 2 weeks to see if we need to do more.  By working together, you will be able to achieve the look you want.  Good luck!

Might try 1 syringe wait 10 days than have second one injected.. But need in person opinions.........

Lip augmentation results often depends on how full your lips look before you have filler, the amount of filler, the type of filler, where the injector places the filler in your lips. Hyaluronic Acid fillers, like Juviderm Ultra and Ultra Plus are used for lip augmentation. The Juviderm Ultra Plus is the thicker hyaluronic acid filler. I recommend that you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience injecting and creating the full lips that you desire. Usually fillers in the lip cause a lot of swelling that subsides after a few days, If the final volume is not satisfactory then more filler can be placed.

  Hi, based on the photos and the history it sounds like you may need more than 1 syringe of Juvederm and likely 2.  I'd like to draw your attention to the non-smiling front face photo that shows very flat cheeks.  Cheek augmentation, with a dermal filler (I prefer Perlane now called Restylane Lyft) can shape the face, creating a heart-shaped face.
