Sir/ Mam i don't know exactly what it is but it looks so strange.My chest shape is like a teen girl breast.Nipples are not pointy and are puffy.I feel lump in both nipples which pains on pressing.When i bath in cold water,the nipple get shrink and chest looks normal.Many peoples recommended me for exercise but nothing work.Please tell me what it is and how can i get rid from it.My age is 22 and weight is 68. when i told to my parents they replied that it is common in adolescense age. Tell me plz

Answer: Gynecomastia Dear ankurrana, Thanks for submitting your pictures. Breasts enlargement in a male is called professionally - Gynecomastia. The enlargement can be fat alone or breast tissue alone or combination of the two. From your pictures and your description of a lump , it appears that you have the combination. The fat part can be reduced by weight loss, though it requires discipline and it is not easy. The breasts lump can be improved only surgically. From the surgical stand point, the fat is removed by liposuction tubes and the breasts tissue is cut out through small incision under the areola. Patients are relieved significantly after surgery and I have patients who were never shirtless at the beach or at the Gym. All that changed completely after surgery. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeon who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Answer: Gynecomastia Physical exam would be helpful, but it appears that you have Gynecomastia. It is fairly common, but since you are 22 and diet and exercise has not worked, then surgery is your only option. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience in Gynecomastia surgery. Good luck!

If it has not resolved by 22 however it most likely won't so if it bothers you a lot then you should get a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are.
