Can I repeat PRP in 15 days?

Question

Hello, I am a 31 year old woman, suffering from diffuse generalised alopecia for the longest time. On November 11th 2016 I took my first PRP sitting and took second sitting today December 27 2016. I wish to know if I can go for my third sitting in next 15 days, though my doctor saysaid it can be done after a fortnight I'm still not sure. I'm moving out of country for over a year next month, so if not now, it won't be anytime soon. Post suggest of it should be okay or otherwise Thanks in advance.

PRP treatment is applied at 4-6 week intervals and are made for 4-6 sessions in total. Of course it changes for patients situation. Doctor,s advice is really important in this.

Unfortunately,at present there is no standardized clinical protocol as to the time interval between PRP sessions.Most experienced Hair surgeons feel that it should be done every month to 3 months for the first year of treatment.There is no harm in doing another treatment in 15 days,it's just unclear whether or not you will benefit.

There is no absolute protocol. Some doctors recommend one injection and others recommend up to 5. I generally recommend 3 injections 6 weeks apart with a booster every 6 months. I see no rationale basis for having a treatment 3 weeks apart, although it will certainly do no harm.  If it makes you feel better, it's your call.

I recommend treatments 4-6 weeks apart, however it is really up to your provider. I don't think it would cause any harm if you had another treatment, but I would consult with your provider.
