Will PRP stop a mass shed of hair after taking a 3 month break from Propecia?

I'd been in Propecia for 3 years and decided to try Lazer Hair Regrowth. After three months of being on laser and three months off Propecia, but continuation of minoxidil, I saw a mass shed of hair to a level worse than it's ever been. I've started Propecia again recently, not enough time to see results. I'm wondering whether PRP will stop the mass shed and help me regrow hair lost during the shed.

I strongly discourage patients from stopping Propecia unless unwanted side effects occur.  It has proven extremely effectively in slowing hair loss and even regrowing hair in most cases.  PRP will assist in hair growth promotion and may accelerate the restoration of your hair in this case.Best of luck!

In my opinion, PRP will not stop the shedding from discontinuation of Propecia. It may decrease the amount and shorten the time of the shedding. PRP promotes hair to transfer from and shorten  telogen. It also recruits to and prolongs the anagen phase. Good luck.PRPHAIRMD.COM
