Upper lip is thinner and longer after rhinoplasty. Can it be fixed during revision?

The look you are describing is not due to a rhinoplasty alone and simple disruption of the DSN muscle should not do this either. The first person you should ask about this is your surgeon? If he/she cannot address this get copies of the operative report and take the report to more than one other surgeon in consultation before you undergo any additional surgery. It may be possible to restructure the lip with lip augmentation grafts, possibly adjusting the lip nose distance.However you should consult with experienced plastic surgeons and formulate a plan that is simple and makes sense.Your issue is complex, so make sure you feel fully comfortable before you proceed.

Loss of lip "show after rhinoplasty?  It is not the depressors that need to be fixed but rather a lip lift will restore your lip to go it's preoperative position.  And in person evaluation would be best. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who  is experienced with lip lifts for this. 

Without seeing any photos of your face, it is difficult to determine what might be recommended. However, I can say that it is very challenging (if not really impossible) to reattach the depressor muscle after it has been cut. You may benefit from an upper lip lift procedure that can sometimes help restore a more desirable shape and volume. I have attached a link to my website that discusses this more in detail. Lip alterations definitely occur after rhinoplasty where the columella is part of the most the nose that is changed.  Typically, the depressor septi muscles are not repaired so the upper lip gets longer and loses its attractive architecture.  Lifting the lip can remedy the issue.

It would be unusual for you to have a thinner upper lip after a rhinoplasty--- it's unclear to me whether those two are related to each other based on your story.  If you have before and after photos, it would be helpful to decipher.

Upper Lip thinner and longer after rhinoplasty. Your present lip length and lack of fullness has nothing to do with cutting the depressor muscles. You can have a lip lift but it would be best to examine you in person to see if this will correct your problem.
