I do not advise my patients to massage their nose shortly after surgery. They may impact the nasal bone healing since they still are not completely set at 9 days. Best to talk to your surgeon.

Very common to have this after rhinoplasty.  Swelling and/or packing inside the nose can temporarily obstruct the drainage system that goes from the eye to the nose.  There are nasal medications that can help especially following removal of the packing.
