I'm 3 weeks post op. The red bruising under eye went away 10 days post op, but the dark circles seems to not improving. I was using retin a creams around my eye pre op, so I'm not sure if I have thinned the area too much in which the blood from the surgery is showing around my eyes. I didn't have dark circles pre op. Now I look like a panda!

Three weeks post op is a short period of time.  I do not think that you did anything to thin your skin with Retin A prior to your procedure which has resulted in prolonged ecchymosis beneath your eyes following rhinoplasty.  I have experienced this in my own practice and it is hard to predict which patients will have this occur.  The good news is that the discoloration will resolve so be patient.  There has been some articles written on the use of pulse dye lasers for this purpose, but I have not been particularly convinced that it is very effective.

TIME!More tie so the ecchymosis that has NOT resolved yet, can! Sometimes it can take 2 months befit the darkness resolves. Discuss with your chosen surgeon.
