Trying to figure out how hard what I need done is. I would like to make my aerolas smaller by converting lift- they are spread and ugly after benelli- any chance for good result or will scars/ breasts look worse after? Willing to change implant size. Please help! Does want nipple aerola too high or peeking out by reducing size. I don't need nipple raised. Advice please!!!
Answer: Conversion from Benelli to Vertical mastopexy... Conversion from Benelli to Vertical mastopexy is very possible...in the right candidate. A vertical mastopexy can better control the areola diameter. However, you must be OK with having an additional scar on your breast.

Answer: Revision Breast Lift Hello again!Your goal pic from yesterday clearly showed higher nipples and more lower pole fullness. If that is not your intent, then be careful asking for a 'vertical lift', which tends to do just that, frequently too much. If you don't want your nipples any higher on the breast mound, they can remain in that location when the revision is performed.Revision surgery should be done by those that have a lot of experience in revision surgeries. In general, the more numerous scars associated with a formal breast lift is less noticeable than the periareolar scars orf a Benelli lift.Best of luck!

Answer: #BreastLift #BreastRevision 44Wendall,Converting a previous benelli to a vertical is very possible. Its common when surgeons try to achieve too much of a lift with a benelli when they should have done a more comprehensive lift in the first place. The other problem with trying to do to much with a benelli is that it can flatten the nipple.A vertical lift is a good choice because it uses the breast tissue not the skin to keep the shape, it effectively minimizes skin stretching seen with a benelli.I hope this was helpful,Dr. Daniel BarrettPlastic and Reconstructive SurgeryBeverly Hills, CA

Answer: Converting Benelli lift to a vertical mastopexy Converting a Benelli circumareolar lift to a vertical mastopexy is certainly possible. The surgeon needs to be careful about the blood supply (circulation) to the nipple because it may have been altered by the Benelli mastopexy and can be further compromised by the vertical uplift. A vertical mastopexy has the advantage of making it much easer to control the diameter of the areola.
