I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Brenner and his entire team. I had a bilateral explant with total capsulectomy and a breast lift in June 2025, and the level of care I received from beginning to end was absolutely exceptional and still is ongoing. A close friend of mine had explanted with Dr. Brenner a few months before me and spoke so highly of him. I’m incredibly grateful she referred me. From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt supported, informed, and truly seen. Dr. Brenner is not only a talented and meticulous surgeon, but also a deeply compassionate professional who takes time with his patients. He walked me through every step of the journey, answered all of my questions with patience and clarity and made me feel confident and calm throughout. His surgical skill speaks for itself my results are beyond beautiful and barely see any scars even with all that was done. I feel more like myself than I have in years. Dani was absolutely amazing. She guided me through the entire process with such kindness and care. No matter how big or small the question, she was always just a text or call away, and truly made me feel like I wasn’t going through this alone. Her presence was a huge part of what made this experience so smooth and reassuring. Nurse Rosie was incredibly caring and attentive she radiated warmth and made me feel so nurtured and at ease on the day of surgery. Elly, the anesthesiologist, was equally phenomenal. She never left my side, kept me calm and comfortable, and ensured I felt completely safe before and after the procedure. The office staff as a whole was also amazing every interaction was professional, kind, and supportive. You can tell this entire team truly cares about their patients on every level. If you’re considering an explant or any surgical procedure, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Brenner and his incredible team. Choosing them was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m beyond grateful.
I recently had a bilateral explant and total capsulectomies with Dr. Kevin Brenner, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. After years of unexplained health issues, I found Dr. Brenner online and followed him for three years. I finally scheduled a consultation, and from the moment I walked in, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. Dr. Brenner is not only incredibly skilled but also kind, caring, and easy to talk to. He made me feel safe and supported every step of the way. The surgery went smoothly, and my symptoms are completely gone — I feel healthier, lighter, and more like myself than I have in years. The results also look amazing. His staff was just as wonderful — warm, professional, and genuinely caring. I’m so thankful for the entire team. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and well-being.
I had my breast implants for over 18 years, and for the past 8 years, I had been considering removal. While I wasn't entirely sure if I was experiencing symptoms of Breast Implant Illness (BII), I began researching and realized that it could be a real possibility. I had heard of Dr. Brenner a few years before my decision to remove my implants, and I always knew that he would be the doctor I’d trust with this procedure. He’s very knowledgeable about BII and showed a true passion for helping women feel better. A year ago, I noticed a significant change in one of my breasts, which led me to believe my implant might have been leaking. I immediately called Dr. Brenner’s office for a consultation. They were able to schedule me for a visit within the same week, and I was able to quickly set up surgery, which I was incredibly grateful for. I underwent a bilateral explant with capsulectomies and a full breast lift. My experience throughout the entire process was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Brenner and his entire staff made me feel incredibly comfortable and well-cared for every step of the way. Now that I’ve healed and seen my results, I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’m confident that I made the right choice in choosing Dr. Brenner. His expertise in recognizing and treating Breast Implant Illness is invaluable, and his skill in implant removal and breast lift is unmatched. If you’re considering a similar procedure, I highly recommend Dr. Brenner. He is a true master of his craft, and I’m so grateful for the positive change he’s helped bring to my life.

If you’re looking for the best plastic surgeon in a state where they’re on every corner, let me introduce you to Dr. Brenner—he’s not just a surgeon, he’s a lifesaver! I had bilateral explant capsulectomies with a full breast lift (translation: implants and capsules out, breasts lifted to perfection). After 27 years with implants and a whirlwind of issues—multiple capsular contractures, necrosis, botched surgeries, you name it—I was ready to be done. But removing implants isn’t for the faint of heart; it takes skill, precision, and a doctor who truly cares. Enter Dr. Brenner. Let’s talk real-life symptoms: hair falling out, brain fog, tingling fingers, joint pain—you name it, I had it. My integrative doctor suspected Breast Implant Illness (BII) and recommended removal. I hesitated, thinking, “Isn’t this just aging?” But Dr. Brenner gave me hope. He doesn’t even do implants anymore because he’s seen too many problems. That’s integrity right there! Not only did he remove my rock hard implants and capsules with precision, but he also repaired my damaged pectoral muscles. My scars? Beautifully neat. My healing? Smooth sailing. And the best part? My symptoms started melting away the moment I woke up. My hair is growing back so fast my husband calls me a chia pet (love you, babe). Literally weight has been lifted off my chest, yes I weighed them lol! I’m breathing easier, moving better, and glowing from the inside out. Dr. Brenner’s secret sauce? His all-star team! Dani and Becca: The office and surgical coordinators I met Becca over the phone and Dani on my first visit. They made me feel seen & heard so much so that I literally decided then and there—this was the place for me. Rosie: Sweet angel surgical nurse who makes nerves vanish. (Seriously, Rosie, do you have wings?) Laurie: The anesthesia hype queen who walks you through every step of the process. She’ll share her own BII journey and text you back about everything—from meds to moods to prune juice (don’t ask). She even told me to wake up at 12 am to eat banana bread and to have a ginger beer at 4 am to make sure I didn’t get nauseous. Dr. Amanda Savage Brown: The explant coach/therapist you didn’t know you needed. Her book feels like a love letter to anyone navigating BII. She just gets it. This isn’t just a doctor’s office; it’s a support system. Dr. Brenner listens, takes his time, and empowers you to make the best decision for you. No pressure, no rush—just genuine care. To Dr. Brenner and his team: Thank you for taking my messy, stressful situation and turning it into a healing journey. I didn’t realize how sick I was until you helped me feel this good again. My body feels alive, and my spirit feels free. If I ever need anything else in the world of plastic surgery, there’s no question—you’re my doc. To anyone on the fence: Go see Dr. Brenner. You won’t just be in good hands—you’ll be in the best.
I had been living with size G breasts for 8 years and was suffering from intense back pain. I couldn’t run, hated being in bathing suits and felt hunched over all the time. Making the decision to do a breast reduction surgery was the best thing I’ve done! Dr. Brenner and his staff were amazing! I felt comfortable, educated and cared for the entire time. I’m so happy with Dr. Brenner’s work and would highly recommend him to everyone!
There are no words that adequately express my gratitude, appreciation, admiration, praise and thanks for Dr. Brenner and his incredible team. My initial consult was done over FaceTime last summer. While I’m thankful for technology, I knew I wanted to meet Dr. Brenner in person before undergoing major surgery. Our travel plans last winter allowed us to meet Dr. Brenner in person. Dr. Brenner and Dani spent so much time with my husband and I. They answered every question we had. They were so kind, caring, and supportive during our time together. We left that appointment with such peace, clarity, and for me, validation, that all these symptoms I was experiencing were real; belief, that it would all work out; and trust, that I was in the right place, at the right time, with the most brilliant and capable team. As my surgery date neared, I became more anxious. I had this recurring fear that I would fly to California and my surgery would be canceled for some unknown reason. So I called to confirmed that they had my lab work, my prescriptions, confirmed my surgery date, my arrival time and asked when anesthesia would call me. I am forever indebted to Becca, Jihan, and Claire for fielding my calls with such kindness, patience and reassurance. You all are wonderful! On the Friday night, Laurie, the nurse anesthetist called me to review my medical history and expectations for surgery the following week. Laurie is exactly who I needed that evening. Laurie put all my fears, anxiety and concerns to rest. Laurie, you are a gem. You are so special and have a wicked sense of humor. Thanks for making me laugh and for being my guardian angel that morning during surgery! The day of surgery, I was greeted bright and early by Rosy, the OR nurse. Rosy was so sweet, nurturing and compassionate. I felt as if my brain couldn’t process one more thing that morning. So she patiently explained all my after care instructions, medications and appointments to my husband. She gave me one last big hug and walked me into the OR. At 4.5 months out from surgery, I couldn’t be happier. I feel so blessed and lucky to have found Dr. Brenner. He is brilliant, talented, amazing and wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Brenner and his team for your care! I can only hope our paths cross again at some point. Dr. Brenner, Dani, Laurie, Rosy, Becca, Claire and Jihan, you all forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you!
Dr. Brenner came into my life at just the right time and I had a EXCEPTIONAL experience! I had had breast implants for 13/14 years, and was experiencing symptoms of BII (tingling hands, heart palpitations, brain fog, I could go on). I thought it was maybe because I have 2 kids, I’m in my 40s and I’m a nightshift nurse. But I decided to take them out because I just didn’t feel healthy anymore. From the moment I stepped into his office until my surgery was over, I felt part of “their family”: SUPER nice staff, clean office, VERY PROFESSIONAL and warm. Dr. Brenner explained everything to me in detail, didn’t rush me and answered all my questions. He explained why he doesn’t even place implants into women anymore, and I felt that spoke volumes and that I was making the right choice. Since having 2 breast fed kids, to be exact, I had a “bilateral explant with capsulectomies with a bilateral full breast lift”. Turns out that one implant was ruptured and I had no idea (and never showed up on my mammograms!!). I’m still recovering as I’m only 2 weeks out but I honestly cannot stop looking at my breasts because I’m so happy and they look so great! At 42, I feel like I have my breast’s from my early twenties back :). Dr Brenner is simply an artist. Thank you Dr Brenner for EVERYTHING! You truly are the best in the biz and should I decide to get anything more done in the future, you’re my doc!!
Treatment: Bilateral explant and capsulectomies and a bilateral full breast lift, liposuction of lateral chest walls and pre-axillary breast tissue Dr. Brenner truly gave my life back. After a year of frequent ER visits due to chest pain, shortness of breath, and numbness in my fingers; I faced constant fear of serious illness. Despite numerous tests returning normal, I lived in daily pain and sleepless nights. I was dismissed by the surgeon that originally performed my implants when I sought him out for help. Fortunately, after a long night in the ER, I was connected with Dr. Brenner. His compassionate consultation provided the answers I desperately needed, leading me to decide on implant removal. His team kept me informed and eased my concerns. Laurie, the anesthesiologist, called the day before surgery to explain everything, boosting my confidence. When I had a pharmacy issue, Dr. Brenner personally picked up my prescriptions for my husband. On surgery day, Rosy greeted me with a warm hug and guided me every step of the way, providing comforting support. The entire team genuinely cares, ensuring I was well taken care of even after surgery. Dr. Brenner is an incredibly skilled surgeon, my breasts look better than ever, and best of all I am now pain-free, can breathe deeply, have lost 8 pounds effortlessly, and my skin looks youthful with no inflammation. Thank you Dr. Brenner, Laurie, Rosy, Dani, and the entire team for transforming my life!
If you are thinking of having breast explant surgery, Dr Brenner is seriously the only Dr to consider. From the first phone call to make an appt I felt very comfortable and when I met Dr Brenner and saw how thorough and what an artist he seemed like, that was it. I was ready to finally get past all my insecurities and I couldn't get it done soon enough. Everyone on his team was what I called 'the A Team'. So much care from ALL of them. His anesthesiologist called me a few days before and talked to me for a very long time and made me feel beyond comfortable. Then the morning of, the nurse felt like my best friend guiding me in there. This was honestly the best surgery team I have ever had and I can't stress enough the comfort level. I had been through a lot of trauma in my past and was very nervous. Before I knew it, all was done and then it was just about healing. I was still in my head about what I was going to look like so I didn't even look for a few days...And, I was so happy when I finally did,...I looked totally normal....only smaller. All my fears were gone and all I can say now is Dr B is a genius. What an artist. And he really cares about his patients. My surgery was a bilateral explant and capsulelectomies, with bilateral full breast lift. I can't thank him and his entire team enough. juliette s.
HI Jessica. True, one can see the amount of breast tissue on an MRI...though a thorough in person examination can do close to the same. You appear to have a decent amount of tissue of your own....you are about 50/50 implant/tissue. With a proper breast lift, you will likely have an excellent result.
It appears that the problem may be that you have inferior malposition of your implants, which is bringing the lower pole down with it. It is possible to do an inframammary fold repair, but the success rate of those depends on how you do it...and is certainly lower when an implant remains. Removing your implants and doing a revision of your breast lift would be another option.
Realistic expectations are so important going into breast reduction surgery. I don't ever promise a cup size to anyone, as bra manufacturers and sizes vary so much. The most important thing is that we try to leave you with a breast mound that is proportional to your chest size and diameter. Please keep in mind, that there are limitations to how much you can take off, as we want to be certain that we maintain proper and adequate blood supply to the breast, skin and nipple.
Most likely not. Do they hold up now? DDD/G cup size on a 32 inch torso seems disproportionately large. In all liklihood, you may NOT even be able to do a full breast lift WITHOUT reducing some of your tissue, without causing problems. If you have further questions, my office staff (in Beverly Hills 310-777-5400) is happy to help you as we see patients from all over the country.
You need at a minimum a conversion to a full anchor mastopexy. More likely than not....you would benefit from slight reduction of the breast tissue, otherwise, even with a full lift, you may sag more than you want.
