Dr. Brenner's expertise in tummy tuck stems from 9 years of combined General Surgery & Plastic Surgery Residencies; along with over 13 years of "hands-on" private practice experience. No two tummy tuck patients are identical. As such, Dr. Brenner tailors each tummy tuck to the needs and specifications of each unique patient. He performs a wide array of tummy tuck procedures including: standard (full) tummy tuck, modified tummy tuck, minimal incision ("endoscopic-assisted") tummy tuck, as well as mini, or "skin only" tummy tuck. Some patients only have excess skin, some only have loose abdominal muscles (AKA rectus diastasis). Many young moms have also developed umbilical hernias which Dr. Brenner will fix during the tummy tuck procedure. And many others, have stubborn areas of fat that they are unable to get rid of even with diligent diet and exercise. For those patients, liposuction is often added to the procedure.
